Bias for players

Without understanding confirmation bias, players cannot advance their skills.

Players display this bias when they select the information that

supports their views, ignoring contrary information, or

when they interpret ambiguous evidence as supporting their existing credence.

The effect is strongest for desired outcomes,

for emotionally charged issues,

and deeply entrenched beliefs.
